Got tired of my snatch tonight!

Working on our 1RM of Snatches tonight.  I fell on my ass twice.  1RM turned out to be 55#.  My only visit to CrossFit this week and I’m bummed about that.  Ready to get back to my normal routine next week.


The Satisfaction

Of eating yet another healthy, delicious lunch… and FINALLY seeing a difference on the scale.  


Massive headache, behind at work, and some horrible banging sound from the shop… not a good combination.  Thank goodness I have an office door I can close.  Now it’s time to get some uninterrupted work done!


TGIF

Just got word from my boss that we will likely be closing the office early today!  As an hourly employee I wish I’d known earlier in the week so I could have taken shorter lunches but I’ll never EVER complain about leaving early on a Friday!!


Being proactive

I struggle with my nutrition every single weekend, so tonight we went to the grocery (honestly we have almost no food in the house) and prepared for a good eating weekend. My week has been so spot on I don’t want to ruin all my hard work this weekend!

First thing I thought… why did I sign up for this, let alone pay good money for this.  This is going to suck and I am going to die.  Then I remembered… I signed up to get better.  Every day a little better.  So yeah, it’s gonna suck and I am going to hate it.  I thought of a million reasons why I shouldn’t go tonight (my life is so busy right now y’all… softball, packing, CrossFitting, being a mom, working) but I’m signed in and ready to go make myself better today.
edit: I thought I was going to die when I read this, imagine my fears when I looked again and realized it’s TWO rounds.  HUFF!
